The facts of recruiting duty, which the Marines seek to, enhance their professional skills and the challenges faced by them while recruiting new marines are discussed. A successful recruiter should have determination, an open mind and limitless leadership potential, as they are playing a direct role in helping, find and shape the next generation of the Marine Corps.

Limited commissioning: an alternative approach to recruiting and commissions

Article Abstract:

The article examines the Limited Commissioning Program (LCP) of the Marine Corps as a means of recruiting target people having various skills. The commissioning period of these LC officers would be 18 to 24 months, with the option to continue after their service is complete.
