The right-sized Army

Article Abstract:

Various studies and researches conducted show that the number of people presently employed in the U.S. Army is way too small and should be considerably increased in the next few years, as it is a very important determinant of the country's ability to win the future wars. It is proven that since the recruitment of a large number of people in the army will be an expensive task, several measures should be taken to meet the demands and tackle the missions effectively.

Article Abstract:

The US military have settled on a potentially winning counterinsurgency strategy and military plans such as to clear out insurgent structures and cadres in Sunni towns after the invasion of Iraq. The main aim is to prevent a new Iraqi government with enough legitimacy to guarantee the success of the democratic experiment in Iraq.
