UK Royal Navy's Type 45 destroyer gets ready for launch milestone

Article Abstract:

The UK Royal Navy's first of the eight Type 45 destroyers, HMS Daring, will be launched on February 1, 2006. HMS Daring's prime contractor, BAE Systems, is continuing in parallel to develop, de-risk and integrate the ship's combat system.
