Article Abstract:
Film and video are two completely different media in respect of operation, economy, convenience, and effect. Seeing the film 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' in a home video confirms that video film is a substitute of films, which neutrally reproduces texts ignoring the sensory impact of the film. Video is a hybrid of theatre and television because it offers a unified composition in a domestic environment with operational control. It is advantageous because viewers need not adjust themselves with the time and place of the film. Viewing of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' in the video is discussed.
