Carver built Carver Corp. which now is coordinated with his latest company, Sanfire, Snohomish, Washington. Carver's innovations aim to do more with less in interesting ways. His interest in music and electronics occurred simultaneously maybe because his mother was a pianist and his father an engineer. His father introduced him to an ocsilloscope, explaining that the instrument would allow them to see their voices.

Soundstream Technologies' Antoine Furbur, a car audio salesman who travels around Europe in a BWW 525 equipped with a state-of-the-art audio system, reports that European tastes in car stereo equipment differ from North American tastes. Older adults comprise a large share of the European market.

Article Abstract:
Japanese car stereos have features that are not common in the US. In-car video systems are common in Japan. Karaoke stereo systems have been available in Japan for a while.
