Spice Girls since their introduction have managed to sell over 32 million albums and made millions more in merchandising and sponsorship. Some have even compared their success to that of the Beetles in the 1960s. Perhaps the band is a product of clever marketing, '90's version of ordinary-is-cool, and their message of "Girl Power."

Article Abstract:
Girls are as interested in computers as boys are, but software companies are not always ready to financially risk creating games for girls. Also in classroom situations, some teachers let the more aggressive boys dominate. However girls do like chat rooms and will form online clubs.
