Boliden to sell non-core assets
Article Abstract:
Boliden Ltd., a zinc and copper mining firm based in Toronto, Ontario, seeks to generate around $100 to $150 million by selling its non-core assets. The move is prompted by the need to improve the company's balance sheet, according to company president Anders Bulow. For sale are the company's metal fabrication businesses in Europe, a scrap business in Sweden and its 50% share in a gold mine in Saudi Arabia.
