Abortion clinic protests: is violence changing the abortion debate?
Article Abstract:
The debate over the moral aspects of abortion has turned into a debate over the use of violence and the right of protest in the pro-choice and right to life movements. A federal law has been passed making it illegal to deny people access to abortion clinics. Some pro-life people feel this law is discriminatory, and feel that they are being denied their right to free speech because of the violent acts of a few people. The political, legal and social aspects of abortion clinic protests are discussed.
