Aceing the tennis tsars
Article Abstract:
This article describes how Australia's tennis team is preparing to play the Russian team in a Davis Cup semi-final match. Relevant points include the Australians' scant hopes of defeating the Russians and advancing to play either the French or the Belgian teams. The Australian team, coached by John Newcombe, is counting on the fast grass playing surface disliked by the Russians and the skill of Lleyton Hewitt, on of the Australians' young stars, to achieve victory.
