A concern is raised about a low voter turnout in the provincial elections in Alberta as Albertans, having already been through two elections, might be suffering from electoral fatigue. The election campaign in Alberta is very quiet and it is expected that Ralph Klein, of the Conservative party, would win a fourth term in office.

A panel of undecided voters from five ridings will be surveyed during the federal political campaign, which ends on Jun 2, 1997. The first survey indicates that many voters are disenchanted with the government and politics in general.
