The heart is a four-chambered muscle, which is hollow and about the same size as a fist. Eighty percent of the people who die from heart diseases die from coronary heart disease, a condition characterized by excessive plaque buildup in the coronary arteries. Warning signs of heart disease are described.

The incidence of tuberculosis (TB) is spreading worldwide, and experts predict that three million people will die of the disease in 1993. Most of the people infected live in the Third World, but the rate of TB is also increasing in Europe, Canada and the US.
