Anemic U.S. job report gives markets a shock and raises fears about slowdown
Article Abstract:
The US economy produced just 32,000 jobs in July 2004, which is only a fraction of the 240,000 jobs that economist predicted. The report sent stocks and the US dollar reeling as investors fled to bonds and gold.
