Another people's revolt
Article Abstract:
A people's revolt erupted in Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek, where thousands of protesters, armed with sticks and stones, stormed the White House, the government's seat of power. Kyrgyzstan's Tulip Revolution comes after Ukraine's Orange Revolution and Georgia's Rose Revolution, where in all three cases, peaceful demonstrations over rigged elections brought down corrupt, out-of-touch regimes with strong ties to Moscow.
