Bay Street skeptical about Yorkton's go-it-alone plan

Vancouver, BC-based Yorkton Securities Inc., which recently fired chief executive officer Scott Paterson, has announced a new go-it-alone business strategy. Yorkton Securities, which specializes in providing financial backing to high-tech and biotechnology firms, has a 200 stockbrokers in its retail investment network.
