Lachlan Murdoch, deputy chief operating officer of News Corporation resigned last week. Although he stated that he was leaving to spend more time with his family, people close to him say that his father, Rupert Murdoch, had been interfering with his business dealings, and that Lachlan may have been concerned over the inclusion of his two young step sisters in his father's will.
