Bored With EBay? Try Google's Unusual Auction
Article Abstract:
Google Inc. plans to hold a modified Dutch auction, online, to sell all 24.6 million shares in its initial public offering. The company is looking to raise $3 billion and expects a share price of between $108 and $135 dollars. The approach is riskier than that of a traditional initial public offering, and some experts say investors should wait to buy until the market stabilizes in the weeks following the offering.
