Bushie's lament
Article Abstract:
In Australia a new book, "The Horses Too Are Gone," has been written by Michael Keenan, 55, a fifth-generation mountain cattle farmer who has been a amateur jockey as well. The book covers the author's struggle to save cattle and horses during a terrible two-year drought in northwestern New South Wales (NSW) in 1994. He predicts that there are to be two classifications of landowners soon, the very big and the ones who love what they have and will keep it despite low income.

Higher ground
Article Abstract:
Jeremy Griffith and his Foundation for Humanity's Adulthood are recovering from the ABC's Four Corners program that portrayed them as members of a cult with Griffith as the messiah and Tim Macartney-Snape as his disciple. He contends his work is to demystify religion, not creating one of his own. Most of the members of his foundation come from elite schools and universities.
