CIBC to open kiosks in Safeways

Pleasanton, Calif.-based Safeway Inc. and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce have formed an alliance to offer banking services at Safeway's supermarkets. CIBC will initially install banking kiosks at Safeway stores in San Jose and Sacramento, Calif. and Denver, Colorado.
