CAI increasing service to Taipei, Rome, London
Article Abstract:
Canadian Airlines International Ltd., a Calgary, Alberta-based airline, is expanding its service to Taipei, Taiwan; Rome, Italy; and London, UK. Canadian is increasing its service on more profitable routes in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, with the help of its fleet of 83 aircraft. As part of the new effort, the airline is reworking its service to Tokyo, Japan, where there has been a decline in business. Canadian is also increasing flights from its major hubs in Toronto, Ontario, and Vancouver, British Columbia, at the same time, it is reducing its capacity by 600 seats per week. The airline will take its 400-seat Boeing 747 jumbo from the Tokyo route and move it to the Taipei and Honolulu, HI, route.
