Celestica buys three IBM plants

Toronto, Ont.-based Celestica Inc. has acquired three manufacturing plants from Armonk, NY-based International Business Machines Corp. for $500 million. Celestica, which is led by president and chief executive officer Eugene Polistuk, makes computer and telecommunications equipment.
