Chapters acknowledges returns problem

Chapters Inc., the country's largest bookseller, issued a statement acknowledging the service problems that have recently angered publishers. The company also said it has resolved its conflict with HarperCollins Publishers Ltd., which had terminated book shipments to Chapters because of the glitches with book returns.
