Relevant points include the necessity of demutualization for financing technological upgrades and global alliances, including the GLOBEX and EUREX trading platforms, as SFE strives to maintain its position as the largest futures exchange in the Asia-Pacific region.

Australia's major banks are closing their doors to the rank and file and opening banking suites for newly rich and elite clients who create the highest revenues. Private banking seeks customers who have at least $750,000 worth of banking needs. The revenues they create justify pampering by the banks. In addition the clients are also powerful advocates for the bank.
