Cold fever
Article Abstract:
The Anglo-Australian team of two companies, Glaxo Wellcome and Biota, were disappointed by the US Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) decision to reject the flu medication Relenza. The rejection affected the stock price of the companies. Relenza, which is inhaled, has been accepted in Australia and Europe and is an effective medication without side effects. The FDA has agreed to rehear the case. The FDA is also scheduled to review a flu medication developed by a US-Swiss team.
