Article Abstract:
A Manhattan jury found home decorating guru Martha Stewart guilty for lying to federal investigators in early 2002 about a questionable stock trade. She would be prosecuted for obstructing an investigation that never led to charges for the alleged offence with which the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission were initially concerned.
