The Internet is becoming the ideal tool for job-hunting. Job-seekers like the instant postings and ease, and employers like the low-cost and instant replies. Everyone in the society likes this new innovation except those business adversely affected such as newspaper classifieds and those suffering from Web phobia. Furthermore, because employers are not charged word by word, they publish as much information as possible.

On-line classifieds are not as profitable yet, but they are becoming a permanent part of the Internet. Ultimately they will drive newspaper classifieds out of business. Many newspapers who see 10 to 20% growth annually have witnessed growth dropping to 1%. Newspapers are already seeing drops in the number of consumers requesting ads.
