Is there a scientific basis for creationism?
Article Abstract:
Supporters of creationism believe that the very symmetry of nature indicates that it could not be a random event, similar to the way an archeologist determines an arrow head was human-created. This complexity is supported in studies of the DNA and the fossil world. Supporters of evolution ask for testable hypotheses and point to the poor designs in nature, such as a rabbit's digestive tract, to refute the idea of an intelligent design. There is also significant scientific data to support evolution.

The black middle class: is its cup half-full or half-empty?
Article Abstract:
An examination of the black middle class looks at affirmative action and urban migration. Some believe affirmative action programs are necessary to offset race-related obstacles and give blacks a fair chance. Others argue that these programs do not provide incentives to work hard and succeed. Some argue that blacks should not move into suburbs, but stay in the city to help disadvantaged African-Americans.
