The meal deal

Article Abstract:

'The Cook's Companion', the latest cookbook by Stephanie Alexander, Australia's diva of the ovens which has almost a thousand recipes and some 500 ideas contained in its 1126 pages is typical of a modern day cookbook. Its designing shows that a modern cookbook is no longer just a technical manual, but is a lifestyle statement, a chic status symbol like a B&B Italy lounge or a Philippe Starck see-through plastic chair.

Hanks, but no thanks

Article Abstract:

The new movie The Da Vinci Code released in 2006 became the front-runner in the Golden Turkey stakes for the most over hyped cinematic folly of the year. Critics believe that the movie does not do justice to the book by the same name and also the acting was mediocre and the soundtrack over-orchestrated.
