The barter system is alive and well throughout the world and is practiced in one form or another in many modern economies. Some estimates indicate that barter deals make up 20% of the world's economic transactions. Bartering is a good alternative to the unstable monetary systems that exist today.

Support is growing among various factions of institutionalized religions to have the Ten Commandments revised to better reflect modern times. Survey results have shown that most people do not know what all of the Ten Commandments are, and of those they do know, they believe to be outdated.
