File-sharing ruling opens Pandora's box
Article Abstract:
A new kind of Internet-based file trading software application called BitTorrent, which could download Television episodes, could be easily digitized and distributed on the Internet using freely available software. This is frightened many companies that own the rights to television programs, films, software and books as they might lose the ability to protect those rights.
