Eaton, a successful Canadian entrepreneur, has been a longtime supporter of the Progressive Conservative Party, but he recently switched his allegiance to Preston Manning's Reform Party. Eaton has helped the party raise funds and is trying to recruit other Canadian businesses people.

The Progressive Party of Canada needs to rethink its politics and philosophies in time for its Jun 1993 convention. The elected new leader should embody the new ideas that reflect the desires of conservatives throughout Canada as well as the technological changes that have occurred.
