Free music on-line is record industry's biggest challenge

The music industry expects a long battle with online music sites, such as Redwood City, Calif.-based Napster Inc. and Los Angeles, Calif.-based MP3.com Inc., which allow online users to download free music products. The music industry has filed lawsuits against such sites through the Recording Industry Association of America.
