Future power
Article Abstract:
Ceramic Fuel Cells (CFCL), a Melbourne-based company, will be selling a backyard power station for $150,000 in late 2000. The new "dry" cells marketed by CFCL are cheaper to operate than "wet" cells and can operate longer without needing maintenance. CFCL's mini-power stations will produce less than half the pollution of coal-burning stations.
