In an interview, founder of Gateway Inc. Ted Waitt, says PC sales have stalled somewhat due to the slowdown in the US economy and saturation of the market. He believes that Microsoft's Windows XP operating system will cause a cycle of PC upgrades, but that the real shift will come with the 'additional' PC market rather than the 'replacement' PC market as consumers see the benefits of a home network and installation of broadband lines.
