Gay Couples Seek Unions In God's Eyes
Article Abstract:
Increasing numbers of gay couples are conducting "marriage" ceremonies in churches and synagogues. Despite the fact the 37 states ban same-sex marriage, gay couples are seeking God's blessings for their unions. Clergy recognize that there are many religiously observant gays and lesbians who believe that God offers the highest consecration for their relationships that gain neither legal nor civil rights through these ceremonies.
