Geac Computer Corporation Ltd., which hired CIBC World Markets Inc. six months ago to explore strategic options, has seen its stock share price decline by 18% after no acquisition bids could be elicited. Geac, which is led by chief executive officer John Caldwell, will lay off an unspecified number of workers.
