Generic drug makers seek export rights
Article Abstract:
Pierre Pettigrew, Canada's Trade Minister, is being petitioned by the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association to advocate changes in international patent law. The changes would enable drug makers to manufacture copies of proprietary drugs for export only to developing countries.
