How to get a bigger raise
Article Abstract:
The average American worker will get about a 4.2% raise in 1999. Employees can increase their chances of getting more of a raise by implementing certain strategies. Keeping a journal of accomplishments, requesting a raise in the form of a proposal, and monthly self-appraisals are some ways to get bigger raises. Employees should be prepared to go job-hunting in case their strategies do not work.
