Linamar profit drops on dollar

Guelph, Ont.-based Linamar Corp., which is a manufacturer of auto parts, has reported an 11% decline in its profit to $16.8 million for the second quarter. Linamar, which is led by president Linda Hasenfratz, reported $373 million in sales for the second quarter.

Parking rates in reverse on Bay St.

An annual survey by Colliers International showed that parking rates have declined throughout North America. Parking rates in Toronto, Ontario fell 6.2% to $270 per month for unreserved parking spaces.
