MDSI shares plummet after company warns of shortfall

On July 6th 2000 the software firm MDSI Mobile Data Solutions Inc. issued a profit and revenue shortfall warning for its second quarter. The news chopped close to $112-million off the company's market worth when its share price on the Toronto Stock Exchange took a $13.60 plunge.
