In the light of a June 2001 three-day picket of the New South Wales state parliament in Sydney, concerning the "Old" Labor government's WorkCover, the memory of dauntless "Old" Labor workers' advocate, Dan Minogue, is evoked. Minogue is remembered particularly for his demand for justice in the case of a worker who lost his testicles in a work-related incident.
