Nikkei nerves
Article Abstract:
The Japanese economy remains in recession, but many in the financial market argue investors should begin purchasing Japanese stocks before its sharemarket begins recovery. The Japanese market, the Nikkei, in the latter months of 1998 has made significant gains despite a weak economy and a shrinking Gross Domestic Product. Although many investors agree the Japanese market is on its way to recovery, they feel it has a long way to go before they are confident about its prospects.
