Oil firms to pull punch on gas wells until study results known
Article Abstract:
Petro-Canada and other oil operators plan to allow natural gas producers to keep more than 600 gas wells open until April 2004. The Petrocan instead of clashing with the producers at regulatory hearing is opting to wait until extensive geological mapping of the disputed region is completed by the end of the year 2003.
