Ottawa creating airline ombudsman
Article Abstract:
The government of Canada creates an ombudsman position to report passenger complaints about Air Canada to the Transport Minister. After the airline completes its takeover of Canadian Airlines International it will be a monopoly, and the government feels it must keep the carrier in check.
