Predicting pressure ulcer risk in pediatric patients: the Braden Q scale
Article Abstract:
There are no reliable pressure ulcer risk assessment tools for children and infants but available for adult patients, and due to this the Braden Q scale is developed for use in pediatrics to give accurate risk predictions. The performance of the Braden Q scale in pediatric population was found to be similar to that reported for the Braden Scale in adult patients.
