The Warrnambool's Grand Annual Steeplechase in Victoria, Australia, is the longest race in the world with 33 fences and much drama. This annual race is worth about $100,000, less than the Melbourne Cup Stake and without corporate sponsorship and million dollar athletes. It attracts over 35,000 people, who reserve their rooms a year ahead and blend in by drinking and gambling.
