Honda shows speed in qualifying but has difficulty on wet Malaysian track
Article Abstract:
An account is presented of the 2001 Malaysian Grand Prix. Winner Michael Schumacher became the first man since Ascari in the 1950's to win more than five consecutive races. An important factor in Ferrari's domination of the race was their decision to use intermediate-wet tyres, which allowed higher speeds on a drying track.
