The avant-garde Canadian circus troupe Cirque du Soleil has performed at the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas, NV, since Nov 1992. The troupe, which has won critical acclaim for its world tours, accepted the contract with the Mirage so it could finance a separate tour called Saltimbanco.
