There are many fun and educational Web sites that are suitable for children, but there are many more that are not appropriate and can be dangerous. To help keep children safe, parents should stay involved in their Internet activity by guarding against adult content, monitoring online chatting, and watching out for junk e-mail. A directory of child-friendly Web sites is included.
