Sun Life unit subject of new probe

Article Abstract:

Sun Life Financial Inc. had struck a $351 million (U.S.) settlement over allegations that it permitted improper trading in some of its funds. It revealed that the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating whether Massachusetts Financial Services Co. directed commission fees to various brokerage firms and other distributors in exchange for them promoting its funds to investors.

Airline's creditors 'disadvantaged'

Article Abstract:

Air Canada bonds will be sold by New York, NY-based Cerberus Capital Management L.P., which has a seat on the bankrupt airline's committee of unsecured creditors. The senior bondholders of Air Canada have complained that they do not have enough input in the restructuring process.
