Heppner, a native of British Columbia, who now lives near Toronto, Ontario, recently starred in the title role of Benjamin Britten's opera 'Peter Grimes' for the Vancouver Opera Company. He performs about 50 times per year, has close family ties and is a strong believer in Christianity.
